Rosie celebrates 20 years at Burleigh Court
Rosie Abbey, the customer service manager at four star Burleigh Court hotel and conference centre, has cracked open the champagne after marking 20 fantastic years with imago.
Rosie Abbey celebrates with a bunch of 20 lilies, the flower which officially represents 20 years.
Rosie joined the imago team when Burleigh Court opened in 1991 and has seen many changes in the building and the hospitality industry in that time. Now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and seeing a large-scale expansion and refurbishment in 20XX, Rosie was also on hand when Burleigh Court became a four star venue, complete with spa and gym. imago itself has also grown significantly in the 20 years, with conference centre Holywell Park and The Link Hotel now an integral part of its portfolio.
Rosie has worked in a number of roles and in every department at Burleigh Court, apart from maintenance or the kitchen as she admits she doesn’t like to cook. Rosie commented: “My passion is for working with the customers, taking on new challenges and finding resolutions. The happiness of the customer is always my main objective, so I’m always working to make them feel a bit special and to give them an incentive to return.”
Kay England, chief executive of imago, added: “Rosie has been an integral part of the team since she started and we’re delighted to be celebrating this milestone with her. The customers always love working with Rosie and her attention and dedication is the key factor in seeing them return, year after year.”
