imago Online for National Venue Show

imago will exhibit at this year's National Venue Show, for the fifth time, and will unveil yet another new service to the sector imago online services.

Last year, the innovative venue brand, revealed the results of an £8.5 million investment in facilities and services that transformed the imago offer, and reported over 400 enquiries logged at the show alone, and a huge upsurge in interest in the venue. This year, the focus is on a new range of online services that have been in development over the last twelve months, in consultation with Kinetic Solutions. The services will be launched as four separate stages over a 2 to 3 year period, the first being the online Bed & Breakfast Booking service which has been trialling for the last 12 months. Head of Sales, Emma Boynton, explains: "We have to keep moving forward as we operate in a people-focussed industry that demands higher levels of service through more and more sophisticated methods of delivery. imago aims to be the forerunner in online technology for the sector." "The Bed & Breakfast model is already gathering momentum, even without marketing support, and we are now taking a steady stream of bookings. Stage 2 will see the introduction of the Online Last Minute Meetings service, which is being developed to specifically answer the growing trend of shorter lead in times and also to satisfy the needs of a local and internal market at the University, that looks for smaller meetings space at last minute." "Using the Online Service, customers will be able to get an instant quote, confirm and book their space immediately." Emma continues: "We are very excited about these new plans and would be delighted to discuss what Stages 3 and 4 will entail, with visitors at our stand, N46. " "For us, there is nowhere better than the National Venue Show to introduce new services to the market. The show is an excellent regional platform for us and we find that the buyers who attend are looking for the range and level of products that we offer, in the right location. In one year alone, we converted £200k worth of new business, a true testament to the quality of the exhibition."
