imago’s bar and restaurant manager, Simon Griffiths, has been one of the first to test out the brand new wedding package offered by his own venue – the four star hotel and reception venue, Burleigh Court.

Simon tied the knot at the end of last year with 70 family and friends in attendance. He said: “We wanted a venue that would take the stress out of our hands and would meet all of our specific requirements. Having worked at imago since 2008, I knew that this would be guaranteed. The timing was perfect for us as imago had just updated its wedding package making Burleigh Court the ideal location for my fiancé and I to tie the knot.

The new wedding package offers a number of different deals to take the stress out of organising the big day, with an option to let imago take care of everything from a facial for the bride, right down to the cake. The recently refurbished Holywell Park is now also available for weddings and civil ceremonies on a larger scale.

“For us, our perfect day meant that we wanted to spend as much time as possible with our guests rather than travelling between locations, so being able to have the ceremony and the reception only a short walk away from each other was fantastic. We took over the whole restaurant and also set up a specially designed games room for a disco and casino. As is standard as part of the new weddings package, we were able to design our own menu and make sure the requirements of all the guests were met. Plus, the excellent service meant that we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could focus on enjoying our day – the staff even filled in as babysitters for half an hour!”

Perfect for intimate gatherings or no-expense spared extravaganzas, imago boasts two stunning venues that will make anyone’s big day one to remember. The four star Burleigh Court is ideal for weddings and civil ceremonies from 65 to 220 and includes a luxury private dining suite which caters for up to 40, four-star accommodation and a leisure centre with a full range of spa and beauty therapies. Holywell Park is a modern, open plan, versatile venue which features its own bridged walkway. The venue is ideal for 250 or 400 with dedicated packages also available for Asian weddings. Both locations benefit from highly trained staff, a dedicated wedding coordinator and top quality catering.

Simon continued: “For me there was no reason to run the risk of the day not going exactly how we wanted it to and choosing the venue where we can have everything exactly as we wanted made Burleigh Court an obvious choice.  With the new wedding packages now up and running, I’m looking forward to making sure many more lucky couples get the same star treatment in 2010!”

imago will also be holding a wedding fair this year on 26th September from 11:30am. Based at Holywell Park, brides and grooms-to be are welcome  to source everything they need for their big day.
