imago gets in shape for Corporate Games


imago, the Leicestershire meetings and conference venue, is tightening its laces and pulling on a sweat band in preparation for the 2011 UK Corporate Games.

 The imago team is getting ready for the thousands of athletes who will descend on Loughborough University campus from 14th – 17th July to compete in 22 different sports.  

 

The UK Corporate Games is Europe’s largest corporate multi-sports festival and brings business’ together to build employee confidence, loyalty and team spirit. The competition covers a wide range of sports including volleyball, hockey, dragon boat racing and football and this year will be hosted by imago and Loughborough University.

 

Kay England, Chief Executive of imago, said: “Our team has been hard in training to make sure that every athlete receives top class service at this fantastic sporting event. It is a privilege for imago and Loughborough University to welcome the Games and we hope that the high level of service we offer as standard across the whole of the campus will help the guests to get the most out of the Games.

 

“Being based at Loughborough University means we have links with the top sporting talent in the UK including the Great Britain and Japanese Olympic teams, which we hope will motivate and inspire all the businesses taking part in the 2011 competition.”
