At a reception in March 2012, The Malcolm Brown room was officially opened. With its capacity of 40, the room is ideal for intimate Wedding receptions, conferences, and private dining.

Malcolm retired last year after 12 years of dedicated service and has been recognised by the Burleigh Court team for his role in launching and developing the imago brand. The hospitality brand passed many exciting milestones during Malcolm’s management – from the launch of Holywell Park and The Link Hotel to the expansion of Burleigh Court.

Kay England, Chief Executive at imago comments, “It seemed fitting to name the dining room, above all others, after Malcolm. He has always been a lover of good food and he played an instrumental part in creating the private dining room during the expansion of Burleigh Court. As we mark the 21st anniversary of the venue throughout 2012, it seemed the ideal time to make this dedication.

“The success of imago has undoubtedly been helped by Malcolm’s assuring and supportive management style. All of us at imago and Loughborough University have benefited from Malcolm’s vision and encouragement over the years and he has always been thoroughly appreciated. With the room in his name, Malcolm’s passion and drive will continue to thrive at Burleigh Court and across the imago brand.”
