imago at Loughborough University is the UK's largest and most extensive single conference site.

Loughborough Campus is a multiple venue site - it is important to have the name of the facility that you will be checking into for your conference or accommodation requirements prior to your arrival on-site.

Car parking

There is ample car parking on the Loughborough Campus site to which access is controlled by security barriers. You should enter and exit the site from either West entrance or the Epinal Way entrance. At the Epinal way entrance please use the lane marked visitors.

A Security Officer will direct you to the car park allocated to your event, if the car park is located away from your registration point there will be a shuttle service provided to and from the car park.

Conference guests will be issued with a windscreen identification tag and a barrier card to enable exit. Please do not leave this card in your car.

All visitors must conform to the Highway Code, please follow all guidelines issued and use suggested routes and car parks allocated and at all time conform to the speed restriction of 15mph. Always park in a proper bay as improperly parked vehicles will be clamped.

Please note that coaches can only be brought onto the site by special arrangement with the imago Sales Office

Check-in

Bedrooms are available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 9.30am on the day of departure unless by prior arrangement.

Check-out

Please vacate your bedroom by 9.30am on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement. Where possible a locked luggage store will be provided if necessary.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchenettes will be cleaned on a daily basis. All bedrooms are supplied with towels and basic toiletries. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in ensuite rooms and in the kitchenettes for standard rooms. Delegates are advised to bring adapters if required as not all rooms have shaving points. Access to our free internet service is available within the bedrooms. Guests will need to have with them an Ethernet cable to connect laptops to the network points. Log in codes can be obtained from the accommodation reception.

Restaurant and bar facilities

The Linford Restaurant and Elynn Richards Dining Hall are the main dining areas for conferences held on Loughborough University Campus. Please check your course programme for catering details, timings and locations.

We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements. Vegetarian dishes are freely available but we would appreciate advance notice of any other diets.

In addition to your designated course dining area, there are a number of food retail outlets available on site. These include The EHB (Edward Herbert) Bar and Food Outlet, the Linford Restaurant, Martin Hall Bistro, The Coffee Corner and The Elvyn Richards Bar. The opening hours of these facilities vary during the summer months and further details are available from the imago Sales Office.

The EHB Bar

Our public bar, maintains usual pub hours during peak times but will alter opening times to suit demand. Please always check in advance of your event for opening hours. Other bars within campus can be open with prior arrangement and extension for late bars an be applied for via the Conference Organiser. Please discuss these requests with your Event Co-ordinator whilst planning your event. They will gladly assist in the application by helping with the detail. All our bars maintain student prices throughout the year.

Burleigh Court Bar, Restaurant and Lounge

The bar, restaurant and lounge facilities at Burleigh Court, Loughborough University's on-site Hotel and Conference Centre, are open to the public 7 days a week.

Leisure club facilities

Loughborough University is home to the UK's most extensive range of sport and leisure facilities.

Loughborough Sports

Contact the Sports reception for recreational access to some of Loughborough University's fantastic sport and leisure facilities including LUFS (Loughborough University Fitness Suite), Olympic Swimming Ball, Tennis, Badminton and Netball Centres.

Burleigh Springs

Located in Burleigh Court, imago's leisure centre and spa complex, Burleigh Springs, comprises a 15m swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool spa, steam room, fully equipped gymnasium and beauty treatment rooms.

Accessibility

WIFI Internet Access

WIFI access is available in designated areas across campus. To access the network please ask at the accommodation reception for a username and access code. Events requiring multiple user access must pre-book in advance.

Access to our free internet service is available within the guest bedrooms. Guests will need to have with them an Ethernet cable to connect laptops to the network points. Log in codes can be obtained from the accommodation reception.

Audio Visual Equipment (AV)

Extensive AV Equipment can be provided within all meeting facilities across campus at an extra charge.
