Arriving at the venue

We understand the importance of getting to the right venue on time and without hassle.

To ensure you are directed to the correct imago venue when arriving on-site, please check the name of the venue that you need to be at with your event coordinator or booking confirmation.

imago has the following three main venues all located on Loughborough University Campus:

Burleigh Court - a stand alone dedicated residential hotel and conference centre

Holywell Park - a stand alone dedicated day conference and exhibition centre

Loughborough Campus - a multiple venue site - it is important to have the name of the facility that you will be checking into for your conference or accommodation requirements prior to your arrival on-site.

Car Parking

Car parking is available for all imago venues free of charge. Please note that coaches can only be brought onto the site by special arrangement with the imago Sales Office.

Burleigh Court - has its own free car park containing 160 spaces, with access to the site controlled by a security barrier.

Holywell Park - has ample free car parking adjacent to the venue, with access to the site controlled by a security gate.

Loughborough Campus - has multiple car park areas on-site, guests will be directed to the appropriate car park for their event on arrival by our security personnel.

Local Amenities

On site, at Loughborough University, you will find banks including cash machines, bars, shops, launderettes, opticians, dentists, doctors, a chapel and extensive sport and leisure facilities.

The Fuel Box(see info below) and the Union Shop sell a variety of food, snacks, drinks, stationery, magazines and newspapers.

The Fuel Box - is located in the Atrium of the Edward Herbert Building. The Fuel Box shop is a really popular outlet year round. The shop sells all the usual ranges for making the day a little easier. There's coffee to go, baguettes, snacks and drinks. The shop also offers stationery items, newspapers, e-top up, dry cleaning and a range of groceries and other essentials.

Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am- 5.00pm & Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 4.00pm

Loughborough town centre, with its array of shops, bars and restaurants, is within easy walking distance of the campus. There is a shuttle bus service, which picks up from several stops on site every 30 minutes and stops both in town and at Loughborough's Main Line Train Station.

Medical Services

Loughborough NHS Walk-in Centre

Situated in Loughborough's town centre, this Walk-In Centre is open 24 hours a day.

Leicester Royal Infirmary - Accident and Emergency

The nearest accident and emergency centre is located approximately 10 miles away at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Fire procedures

All visiting organisers and guests must make themselves aware of the Fire Procedure notices, which are located throughout the site. These notices contain information as to the action to be taken in the event of discovering a fire, hearing the fire alarm sounders and with regards to the designated areas of assembly after evacuating a building.

Guests will be notified on the day of any scheduled fire tests.

Pets

With the exception of assistance dogs, no pets are allowed onsite.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited within all imago and Loughborough University facilities.

Lost Property

Any enquiries regarding lost property should be made with the imago Sales Office, who will endeavor to locate the property in question. Prepayment for postage must first be received in order for any items to be returned.

Insurance

The University has insurance cover, including fire insurance, which extends to cover loss, damage, or injury suffered by conference visitors in the event of legal liability being attributed to the University or its employees. These insurances are held with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group. Therefore, there is no cover to protect visitor's property other than as underlined above. Conference organisers and attendees are advised to carry their own insurance.

Liability

imago is unable to accept liability for loss or damage occurring to any property or motor vehicle left, deposited, or parked on site.
